Cookie Business Reference Library

If you’re starting a cookie business (or any business), it’s always a good idea to have a few specific books on hand for a quick reference. We think our ebook presents a very thorough break-down of starting a cookie business, but the following books cover many of the broader issues of starting a bakery and have useful, valid perspectives. While the Internet is a vast resource, there is a lot to be said for having your own reference library. It’s quick and to the point without having to search through a ton of web sites that may or may not have the information you are looking for. Here are a couple books that sit on my reference shelf. I’ve found them to be really helpful in starting and running my cookie business.

Each book is unique in it’s own way, and each book gives you different view points and ways of approaching a bakery business.

For those of you wanting to bake out of your home or sell exclusively through a web site, please remember that you really ARE opening a bakery, even if you don’t have an actual store front. So the information still applies.
