Labor Day Cookies

by National Cookie Network

How great it is to have that annual Labor Day BBQ with friends and family!

But why do we celebrate Labor Day? I have found that many folks  can’t answer that question. So here’s then answer, just in case.

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

So as long as we’re celebrating all our hard, American work, how about including dessert?!! Cookies, of course! You just can’t get more American, than cookies!

We have the perfect cookie recipe to go with your BBQ….. Hot Dog Cookies!!! That’s right, I said Hot Dog Cookies! You just can’t go wrong with hot dogs on the grill AND in the oven!

Here’s the recipe. I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Happy Baking!
